Health, wellness, and enjoyment of life have long been ingrained in Dr. Custodio since she was young. Growing up in the Philippines, her exposure to simple home remedies instilled in her the belief that health can be promoted naturally. Dr. Custodio’s desire to find alternatives to conventional Western medicine ultimately led her to Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. 

 

After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science and Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno,  Dr. Custodio attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine ("PCOM") where she earned her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Traditional Oriental Medicine.  While at PCOM, Lesley received advanced training in Japanese-style acupuncture and cosmetic acupuncture. Lesley completed additional training in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, Cupping Therapy, and  Aroma AcuPoint Therapy (AAT).

 

Dr. Custodio is a California Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and is nationally certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  Dr. Custodio was previously licensed in her home state of Nevada as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.).  Nevada and California are known in the industry as the most difficult jurisdictions to gain admission into.  Dr. Custodio formerly served as Clinic Manager at the PCOM Acupuncture Clinic, where she was responsible for the clinic's day-to-day management of operations.  She is currently clinic faculty at Pacific College supervising students during their clinical rotations.  

 

When Dr. Custodio is not treating her patients she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as cooking, traveling, and yoga.
